What the AVILOO FLASH Test Measures
An independent, manufacturer-neutral battery diagnostic — performed in approximately 3 minutes on every EV at Planet Motors.
Measures the battery's current usable capacity against its original capacity when new — calculated independently of the manufacturer's onboard estimate, which can differ from the actual condition.
Detects voltage imbalances, weak cells, and anomalies that don't show up on a regular OBD scan or in the vehicle's dashboard. Issues at the cell level are the single biggest predictor of future battery problems.
Reports usable kWh and estimated range against the manufacturer's WLTP/EPA specification, based on the measured State of Health.
Compares the battery's degradation against AVILOO's field database for the same model, age, and mileage — flagging vehicles that have aged faster or slower than expected.
A clear, dealer-neutral classification — Excellent, Good, Fair, or Poor — backed by AVILOO's published methodology and not influenced by the seller.
Each AVILOO certificate carries a QR code linking to the original digital record on AVILOO's servers. Authenticity can be verified by anyone — buyer, lender, insurer, or future owner.
